We’re so proud of your team’s hard work and dedication this season. As you prepare for the big weekend, please read through the important information below so everything runs smoothly.

Stay warm, stay positive, and keep those kids healthy this week — it’s going to be an incredible event!

⚠️ What You Need to Know

1️⃣ Admission & Entry

  • Players  and up to  7 Coaches  (in official coaches’ uniform) receive  free admission.

  • Admission Prices:

    • Adults:  $10

    • Grades K–12 & Seniors 60+:  $7

    • Ages 4 & under:  Free

2️⃣ Venue Details

  • Both stadiums have  concession stands  and  restroom facilities.

  • Seating is  metal, so plan for cold conditions — bring blankets or seat cushions!

3️⃣ Field Passes

  • Each team will receive  7 field passes  (for coaches, managers, or play counters).

  • Only individuals listed on the  official roster  and  background-checked  are eligible for a pass.

  • Decide in advance who will be on the field —  no exceptions.

  • No cell phones or walkie-talkies  may be used by coaching staff during play.

  • One pass holder must serve as the  minimum play counter.

  • JYFA will  spot-check play counts  during games.

4️⃣ Minimum Play Rule

Failure to follow the minimum play rule will result in a  forfeit.

5️⃣ Cheerleaders & Halftime Music

  • If you’re bringing  cheerleaders, notify us  immediately  and provide a current  Insurance Certificate  naming  Jeffco Youth Football  and  Jeffco Public Schools  as  Additional Insured.

  • For  music playback, the stadium sound system uses a  mini plug  connection (Phone adapters will not be available and must be supplied by you).

  • A  cheer representative  familiar with the playback device must be present in the booth during the routine.

6️⃣ Field Restrictions

  • Only  water  is allowed on the field or track.

    • ❌ No sports drinks, food, seeds, or gum.

7️⃣ Game Operations

  • JYFA will manage the  game clock and play count.

  • Each team must provide  chain crew volunteers: 2 for Home, 1 for Away.

8️⃣ Photography & Video

  • You may have  one on-field photographer  or one  Video recorder

9️⃣ Stadium Rules

  • ❌ No heaters allowed on the field.

  • ❌ No artificial noise makers (cowbells, air horns, blow horns, etc.).

  • ❌ No personal music systems for warm-ups.

  • ❌ No dogs (except certified  service or medical alert dogs  wearing vests).

🔟 Patches

  • Each team receives  30 patches  total.

  • If you need extras, contact your  area director  after the weekend — additional patches will not be distributed at the game.

11️⃣ Weight Challenges

  • Must be submitted  at least 2 hours prior to game time.

  • Challenged players must weigh in  before the game  (not after).

  • Early challenges during the week are preferred to keep games on schedule.

12️⃣ Rosters for Announcers

Provide a  numbered roster  (in numerical order) with  pronunciations  for difficult names to the press box.  This is mandatory.

13️⃣ Game Readiness

  • Be prepared to take the field  up to 15 minutes early.

  • Delays may result in a  delay-of-game penalty:

    • 9 yards (60-yd field) or 15 yards (100-yd field) for every 5 minutes late.

14️⃣ Locker Rooms

  • Available  before the game and at halftime  only.

  • All gear must be cleared out  by halftime.

  • Halftime: 8 minutes max  (may be shortened to 5 if behind schedule).

15️⃣ Parking

Encourage families to  carpool  whenever possible.

The  Carnation Bowl  is proudly staffed by  volunteers. Please remind your team and fans to  clean up your area  after your game so our volunteers can wrap up quickly.
